 | Liga Rainier Youth Soccer Club Volunteers Liga Rainier Youth Soccer Club is a volunteer run organization. We could not exist without the dedication and commitment of our parent and community volunteers. We ask all families to consider a volunteer opportunity within the Club or Team. There is always support when you have questions. Serving as a volunteer will help you: - -Meet new people beyond your individual team

DOWNLOAD VOLUNTEER FORM! | To assist your coach in the appointment of a team manager, treasurer and representatives, please check the areas in which you are willing to serve. These team volunteers are appointed by the coach and serve at the pleasure of the Liga Rainier Board. - Web Master Help update and maintain our club website!
- Team Manager Appointed by and works closely with the coach, assisting with those non-coaching administrative aspects of the team which the coach chooses not to perform. Along with the team representative, attends and votes at Liga Rainier SC general meetings. Team Manager’s Handbook and other guidance provided by the club. Must obtain Washington State Patrol & WSYSA clearance.
- Team Representative Attends and votes at Liga Rainier SC general meetings and reports information back to the parents, and coach and team manager when necessary.
- Team Treasurer Maintains financial records for the team and reports to Liga Rainier SC VP Finance, preparing monthly financial reports as requested.
- League Scorekeeper (U-11 and older teams only) Reports scores of league games to age/gender SYSA league administrator the day of each game.
- Team Referee in Pool (ALL TEAMS) (Older player may volunteer also – U14 and up)
• Serve as a paid Referee (Center or lines) through the Seattle Soccer Referee Association, for at least 10 LRSC games during the fall season. Must be a certified Referee (classes will be available). See handout for additional details The following are some other areas in which parental assistance may be needed. The team manager or coach will inform you of your team’s individual needs, and may make different or additional requests for parent assistance, at Registration night and/or during the season.
- Uniform Coordinator - Team Fundraising - Team Sponsorship - First Aid Kit/Injury Ice - Water - Travel Arrangements - videotaping of games - Team Social Events - Team Pictures - Publicity - Team tent or canopy - College Preparation Process (U-17 and older)
